Let’s dive in!
Starting when we are young, we’re led to believe that contentment will come when we finally arrange our lives perfectly.
If we pepper life with the right experiences, the right people, and the right accomplishments, we’ll finally land in satisfaction.

“Wait, I’ve tried to meditate and I’m just not good at it.”
Welcome to the club. Believe it or not, I too used to think I was a “bad” meditator. It turns out the only problem was my concept about what meditation should look or feel like.
In truth, every meditation session is unique and perfect as it is. Each time you pause for the practice, you’re clearing another layer of inner debris, even on days when the mind is active. It’s ok.
Meditation isn’t a skill to be perfected, it’s a practice that evolves and unfolds over time, of its own accord. All we need to do is show up. From there, I can show you how to really savor your meditation time, in a delightfully natural way.
Welcome to effortless meditation.

So you have a lot of thoughts while meditating?
This means you’re alive. And that’s great!
Thinking during meditation is normal—and a part of the process. “But why is my mind so busy?” you may be asking. We live in a busy world. Our mind and senses are pulled outward. All. The. Time. Until we either fall sleep or meditate (and the two are very different). Thus, the mind is used to being active and believes that the best thing it can do for you, is to keep thinking—up to 60,000 thoughts/day. Phew.
But an interesting shift can happen.
As we engage very gently with our being through meditation, we detoxify the mind and body, releasing the grip of our thoughts—even shifting our hormones and neurotransmitters.
We’re truly rewiring ourselves, one moment of inwardness at a time. As we do so, we experience the natural inner state bubbling up more often, the true self that has been buried under the layers of everyday life and our many stories about ourselves. What we find instead is a new dimension within, a being of remarkable calm, love, and vitality. Let’s dive in!

If I Meditated Regularly, What Might Happen?
Modern research is shedding light on why this powerful practice has been preserved and revered for thousands of years. Here are just a few of the benefits associated with a regular meditation practice.
Poise
Mindfulness training is associated with increased neural activity in brain regions believed to promote self-awareness and emotional regulation. This is probably why regular meditators report an ability to “respond” more gracefully in difficult moments, instead of “reacting” with unchecked emotion.
Flow State
Practitioners of meditation and mindfulness report more frequent experiences of flow state, where they need to think less to accomplish more. In this state, you aren’t burdened by they past or concerned with the future. You are deliciously present in the moment as ideas and next steps flow to you freely.
Stress Release
Deep states of rest prompt the brain to release dopamine, serotonin, oxytocin, and endorphins. These neurotransmitters are linked to different aspects of happiness, and meditation choreographs their simultaneous release. So by meditating, you choose bliss over stress.
Relationship Improvements
Being present and aware can improve the way you perceive and relate to the people in your life—from work relationships to the people closest to you. As you meditate regularly, you will develop witnessing awareness—the ability to calmly observe a situation, notice your triggers, and choose the right response with more ease. Some report deeper feelings of compassion, love, and empathy as well.
Happiness
Research shows that people with higher natural levels of mindful awareness feel less stressed, anxious, and depressed. Instead, they more often feel joyful, inspired, hopeful, content, grateful, vital, and satisfied with life. Thankfully, you don’t have to be a born optimist to recover innate joy. Meditation restores the deep potential for happiness that is the birthright of every human being.
Cognitive Fitness, Focus & Learning
A growing body of research finds that meditation is a powerful tool for awakening new neural connections and even transforming regions of the brain. Neuroplasticity, or the ability to grow new neurons, is enhanced. By meditating, you can tap into your brain’s deepest capacity to focus, learn, and adapt at any age.
Healing
Meditation provides a profound and unique form of rest for the mind and body. With regular practice, it supports the mind and body in returning to a more balanced state. The practice can also free up physical and mental energy that then becomes available for numerous healing actions throughout the body, including cellular repair.
Creativity
Meditation is a powerful practice for journeying beyond conditioned thought patterns into a state of expanded awareness. We connect to the field of infinite possibilities—of pure potentiality—and open ourselves to new insights, intuition, and ideas. Solutions to complex problems or creative ideas flash forth.

“Life is a perfect combination of logic and mystery—perhaps more mysterious than logical. In all areas of life, the head and heart should go together . . .”
- Amma (addressing the United Nations)
